    To Go Sushi closed and Sushi on the Run has opened. I learned that upon my last visit. The inside counter and waiting area have had a light refresh, which was needed. Overall vibe is the same. The new menu is mid - was not impressed with the chicken katsu bento box. Not really a dine-in joint, but ok for those daring enough to try take-out sushi in the desert.

    To Go Sushi is permanently closed. The new restaurant in the same place is called Sushi on the Run.

    The new owners are great and have great tasting sushi and offer 20% discounts in the afternoon, they're grab and go style and don't have a menu yet. But I'm a long time fan of the original owners they have opened a new storefront at 42150 Cook Street #A Palm Desert, CA 92260 if you miss their sushi/value they're still in business!
